Notes + Favorites #1

Well, hello there! Long time, no see. It has been quite a few months since I've been here. I say that a lot, I know. As blogging is not my full-time job, it gets pushed to the back burner when life happens. And a lot of life has been happening since I left you! Just to fill you in on the big things: I started a new job, I traveled to London, England and Venice and Lake Como, Italy, and I moved in with my partner to a new (to us, it's quite old) apartment. Halloween and Christmas have sailed by and it's the beginning of a brand new year! I've got my new planner and journal that will definitely change my life (they always do). A million little things happened in the middle and I'm ready to be back here.

I'm looking to add more inspiration and creation into my life and I hope to leave you a little more inspired as well. In the past, I've done a few of these weekly roundups, but they never did stick. Here's to hoping this one stays. Welcome to my first Notes + Favorites post! You'll find all the things that I loved throughout the week like articles, recipes, clothes, books, etc. A mish mash of things that brought me joy. Happy reading!

Word of the week: kaffeeklatsch /kaf·fee·klatsch/ A casual gathering for coffee and conversation.

Currently Reading: The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides + Semi-Well-Adjusted Despite Literally Everything: A Memoir by Alyson Stoner

Ways to increase your "joyspan".

I've had the Nancy Meyer's Kitchen playlist on Spotify on repeat.

Still not over my NYE dress from Selkie

Links to my favorite notebooks and planners. I love starting a new planner and journal with a new year.

I did the Winter Solstice Ritual this year and it was so incredibly peaceful and affirming. I highly recommend planning for this coming Winter Solstice.

I started the year off strong with a 5-star read: Tender Hearts by Annie Hartnett.

This article has other ways to say no. As someone who has always said yes and is learning to say no, this was a helpful read!
