Birthday Camera Roll Crumbs

The birthday posts continue! While I always shoot a birthday portrait (or fifty), I'm always doing something to actually celebrate as well. This year I squeezed in my birthday celebration with my favorite Taurus and my birthday celebration with my partner in the same weekend. We love an ongoing celebration.

Friday evening (May 2nd), Erica and I went to the 1933 Lounge in Carmel, IN. I have been to a 1933 Lounge multiple times, but they just built this location and I wanted to give it a go. It was Erica's first time. It's part of the Huse Restaurant group. I wore my favorite dress that you have definitely seen before (thankful it still fits!) and ordered my favorite cocktail (Liquid Love Affair). We definitely treated ourselves and had a blast. It's always just so fun to shoot some photos and laugh our way through a night. We also did some prime people watching. A perfect way to start my birthday weekend.

Saturday (May 3rd), Devin started the day off with a brunch at CafĂ© Patachou. Definitely a top brunch place for me. Their omelets (which I did order) are delicious. Then he surprised me with a trip to my favorite antique place in Indy, the Southport Antique Mall. It's where I score the most. We wandered around there for a few hours and I came home with a couple of cutie vases. The face vase was a prize. I've been wanting one (or more) of these for awhile now. The little bud vases were too cute to pass up! After a quick nap, we got ready for dinner at Anthony's Chophouse. I hadn't been and was so excited! The food was absolutely amazing. We got the truffle arancini for an appetizer and it was *chef's kiss* fabulous. I could just eat that honestly. My cocktail was the Gemstone Spritz. For my main course, I ordered the chicken roulade. We shared an asparagus and fry side. The asparagus and fries were to die for as well. Highly recommend a visit if you're looking to treat yourself a bit.

Sunday (May 4th), my actual birthday, was mostly spent relaxing on the couch. It was nice to just kind of be. Nothing crazy! Just eating some cake and enjoying myself. I felt completely loved during my birthday and had the most wonderful time.
