Weekend Camera Roll Crumbs

An exciting and relaxing weekend was had.

To celebrate my partner's birthday, I reserved at table at The Fountain Room and booked us a couple's hot stone massage at Woodhouse Spa, both in the Bottleworks District in Downtown Indy. In between the two, we popped into Pins Mechanical to see if any lanes were open for Duck Pin Bowling (there weren't and the wait was an hour and 45 minutes). So, we bopped around and had a drink. The Bottleworks District is so fun to wander - so many activities and food - you can easily spend a whole day there. After the massage (which was heavenly and worth every dollar), we went back home to watch Mickey-17 (highly recommend) and munch on charcuterie and just relax. I also made some brownies that were delicious (the Ghirardelli brand).

Normally on Easter Sunday, we do something big with my dad's side of the family (sometimes my mom's!), but nothing was planned this year. So, I asked my grandma to brunch at Le Peep (which is no longer Le Peep apparently). We got a pitcher of mimosas and had a delightful time! After brunch, my partner and I headed to Half Price Books to peruse. I, of course, ended up with an armful of books. Each one has been on my to read list for awhile, so I am excited to eventually dig into these!

A massage and new (to me) books? The perfect weekend with you.
