What I Wore 4.12.25

A very relaxing and delightful weekend that turned into a slow and work filled week. As weekends tend to do anyway. I didn't want to just start ranting about the weather. In all honesty, it wasn't that bad, if a little rainy. Temperature wise though, it's getting better! Friday was positively toasty!

I was rather exhausted this week. I figured out why - and it's work related. Shocking, I know. I also have personal to-do lists every day and I think I'm becoming a bit too regimented. I crave a schedule, but I think I need to start leaning a little more into spontaneity. With the weather actually warming up, this will be easier, but working out, cooking, taking care of Oswin, being creative, getting my steps in, doing self care, reading, playing around with other hobbies, seeing my girlfriends, seeing my partner, and seeing my family, watering my plants... well, it really doesn't leave a lot of time. I'll figure it out, it's just been on my mind a lot recently. Like, how are we expected to go on with our daily lives while democracy is dying?

Still obsessed with these dresses. They're just the perfect mix of casual and not. I can do so many things with them! One of those things is laying on the couch. Shop the look here.

Ope. And again. I did actually leave my apartment this day... Shop the look here.

I finally bought a pair of gingham pants! These are ponte pants - so they are incredibly comfortable, but not super structured. I would really like a pair of brown gingham trousers (linen?) à la Sezane. Shop the look here.

I love this skirt, but I feel like it might be time to find something similar that I can love just as much. The problem is after the first two button, it gapes unbelievably because the gap is so wide. The skirt actually fits me pretty perfectly except for that. It just needs another button there. And I don't think I want to spend time or money trying to figure that out. Shop the look here

I have been waiting for awhile to wear this look. I really didn't want to wear it with tights. I love green and red together and this particular shade pairs so well. It's not just for Christmas, y'all! Shop the look here.

An oldie, but a goodie (yes, another Gal Meets Glam dress). I did find a few sizes on eBay which is fabulous. Pink, red, and burgundy together is definitely a favorite color way. Hello summer dresses! Shop the look here.

I couldn't quite believe it when I looked at the weather and the high was 79°F. A favorite dress that is just a wee bit too tight in the bust now. It still zips though! Hopefully Abercrombie comes out with a few more so I can size up. The sweater was for the office because it was toasty outside! Shop the look here.
