What I Wore 4.19.25

This week was a little crazy. I celebrated my partner's birthday during the weekend and traveled for work at the end of the week and into the weekend. I also wore the same dress twice. I would say "whoops", but it's a great dress. And perfect for traveling and relaxing. I didn't add most of my outfits to my LTK, but I've worn them basically all before. You can find them here in some form or another.

I noticed I was leaning towards wearing a lot more green. Not surprising as it's my favorite color to wear, especially during the spring. I should probably look into incorporating new green pieces into my wardrobe. I am always reaching for it. And, quite frankly, I look fabulous in greens.

I think we've finally reached the point of no return on cold weather. The lows are staying well above freezing at least. It might be just about time to start dragging my plants onto my patio to feel the warm, fresh air.

This is me after the massage (if you look closely you can see the face pillow marks). I love this dress (these dresses) so much. Incredibly comfortable and looks so elevated. I am still loving this Aldo bucket bag I thrifted too!

A comfy dress for a relaxing day. I decided green was the color of the weekend. I got this from Old Navy last year and didn't wear it much (I had it in a bag to be altered), but decided I like it long. Not worrying so much about hemlines has been very freeing for me.

This outfit, while extremely comfortable, felt so blah and boring to me. The pieces alone are all great and I love them, but I just didn't feel like I had a personality in this. Shop the look here.

I tried many different versions of this final look. I really love the scarf and the gold heels. They just add some extra flair. I felt a bit fifties sock hop though. Didn't hate it. Maybe green is the color of the week... Shop the look here.

I think the weather is finally turning, for good. The high was 77°F this day. The tank top is for the out of doors look and the sweater is for the office. Did I have my space heater on? Maybe. Shop the look here.

Airport outfit! I always prefer a dress to anything else, but especially a longer dress. I do not like my thighs sticking to the seats. I also don't want to have to worry about flashing anyone unexpectedly. Only expectedly. The way I schedule flights (for work or pleasure), I am usually running off to do something as soon as I land. This particular outfit was perfect because it was so comfortable (basically pajamas), but looked great to bop around the city.

My board meeting outfit. I was waffling between a short sleeve sweater top and this vest. I'm so glad I went with the vest. Typically, hotel conference rooms are very cold, but this one was a little on the warmer side. These gingham ponte pants are the best - I was so comfortable while looking quite corporate. I added the red shoes and lip (later) for a pop of color. Sitting for a meeting from 9 AM to 5 PM is not for the feint of heart or flimsy clothing.

Friday night's dinner outfit. Just a quite change. I love this dress and I loved it even more as my belly was full of delicious food that night. The perfect dress when you need a little breathing room.
