What I Wore 11.9.24

I am actually fairly proud of the fact that my outfits feel very different from each other. I would say I have a tendency to get stuck in my style, especially in the fall. Sweater. Skirt. Loafer. All my favorite things, to be sure, but I don't want to always look like I'm wearing the same outfit in a different color. My outfits this past week have all felt very me, while being very different. Even the two plaid skirt looks don't look exactly the same! This makes me very happy and makes me think I've really settled into my style a bit more. My pieces are working for me.

I should also mention that weather has turned. It's still pretty mild, in my opinion, but the clouds are steely grey and there's a chill in the air. It finally feels like proper fall. Finally. I am holding out on wearing tights (I did just give them a wash though). Fingers crossed I can have bare legs until December.

A little date night look. I put these pieces together last year and it instantly became a favorite outfit. It also might have been the first time I realized that I, too, could wear tall boots and long skirt. Shop the look here.

Another favorite from last year. This skirt might be getting just a little tight, so I'm hoping to find a replacement just in case! It's currently out of stock. Can't get enough of these boots. Shop the look here.

I have a lot of plaid skirts. This one is a little newer and I hadn't worn it yet, but look how cute! I'm really trying to style my sweater vests more, but I feel like I need to update my tops. Shop the look here.

Just a wee Ravenclaw look. I really love showing my fandoms off in a softer way. Anyone could wear this, but it's a slight homage to my Hogwarts house. The Time Turner necklace should be a dead giveaway though. Shop the look here.

Creating this outfit took everything in me. Nothing was working. And even though I find this to be very adorable, it still didn't really work (I changed tops on my lunch break, shhh). I have had this top for awhile and have loved it. I never thought I would get rid of it, but here we are. It just doesn't fit right in the shoulders. I've always been a bit broad, but with my weight and muscle gain, it really just sits wrong and pulls in weird places. Still loving these pants though. Shop the look here.

I have been having the hardest time styling this top. I don't know why. It's adorable and honestly probably goes with everything. I think it has something to do with how I'm feeling about my body, but that's a different post for a different day. I'm just glad I finally wore it out! Shop the look here.
