What I Wore 9.23.24

I feel like I'm coming back into myself with these fall outfits. It's just so lovely feeling a little more creative when I'm getting dressed. Plaid is my favorite print. I love a darker color palette. I am an autumn, after all. The days and nights were cooler, but I did sweat a little on my afternoon walks. I couldn't resist wearing sweaters though! I've added quite a few new pieces to my wardrobe and started playing with them this week. I even wore pants. I know. Who do I think I am.

The week actually went by fairly quickly for me. September just really needed to leave, I suppose. I'm excited to welcome October (hello Halloween outfits!), but I don't want to rush fall. We barely get great fall weather as it is. And I'm already seeing Christmas posts and items in stores. I get it, we had fall and Halloween out extra early too, but there weren't any big holidays getting in the way. We still have Halloween and Thanksgiving to get through, y'all!

You can find all my outfits here! I also still link similar items if something is old and/or sold out.

Monday: This is one of my favorite summer dresses, but I think with the browns and darker blues, it will transition well into fall with the right layering pieces.

Tuesday: This skort is my new favorite (I also have it in a navy plaid). It's the perfect length and color. I finally bought a tailored vest! This burgundy is so perfect for fall. It's actually a part of a set (blazer and pants). I bought the pants, but not the blazer. I'm very excited to pair them together, but looking forward to all the outfits I can create with both pieces.

Wednesday: Shorts for fall? Groundbreaking. Not really, but I do find it a little odd that I prefer to wear shorts when the weather starts to cool. I love to pair shorts with tights. This pair is so fun! It runs a little tight though and I kind of wish I had sized up.

Thursday: And here are the pants. I have grown out of a few pairs of pants (to my dismay, but it is what it is) and needed some new options. I really want to lean into pants more this year. I got three pairs from Old Navy (two are currently being hemmed). This is a great skinny pant with a lot of stretch! So comfortable and adorable. I love that it's a tight plaid because I feel like the print mixing will be so fun in these.

Friday: One of my absolute favorite outfits to pull out when it's chillier. I adore this Gal Meets Glam jacket and this look is so simple, but so chic. A fun jacket can really elevate an otherwise very plain look. These boots are also... Crocs. I know. But they are very comfortable and weather proof. I don't know if I really like them for actual rainy days, but they get the job done and aren't that expensive.
