Indy weather... I swear. One of my girlfriends stated she was ready for winter to be over. And I almost agreed. Instead I said this was most definitely spring. Spring in Indiana is volatile and finicky. She doesn't know what she wants: a breezy, sunny day with flowers blooming, a tornado, or a blustery, cold and rainy day. I never trust that it's over until May. It can be chilly in May somedays, but it doesn't feel like winter.
I refuse to put tights on again. I also refuse to be cold. To combat this, I styled my long boots with long skirts and sweaters. Honestly, it's worked out pretty well! It's not exactly what I would have liked to style, but I like the outfits. They were comfortable and kept me warm (sometimes a little too warm). And I love a theme (sorry Thursday).
Hoping next week is better with the weather. More warm spring than storm and cold spring. I did have a lot of fun with getting dressed this week though. Each outfit still felt distinctly different even though they were basically the same.
It took everything in me to not wear all of my pleated skirts this week, but the other colors don't look quite as sharp with the boots if I'm honest. Not me thinking I need to add more color into my wardrobe and then wearing this. Sometimes I just love a neutral look. Shop the look here.
I really would like to start wearing my cardigans as sweaters more. I don't think I quite have the type of cardigan to do this, but it works for now. Looking forward to adding more into my wardrobe that fit my aesthetic. Shop the look here.
I wanted to wear something a little more to the MORE Pre-Launch Party. I love this leopard dress. It's so comfortable and easy. It was warmer this day, so the bare legs were just fine. Shop the look here.
Couldn't let the week go by without pulling out one of my midi satin skirts! I used a belt on the sweater to make it appear tucked without adding the bulk into the skirt. I much prefer a crop version of something with a skirt like this. Shop the look here.
