What I Wore 2.8.25

Happy Valentine's Day Week!

This past weekend was an absolute blast. My partner and I went out with another couple friend on Friday. We dined at Prime 47 and popped into Cannon Ball Lounge for a cocktail (or two). It was just a really lovely evening. Saturday I was corralled to help with One Question Interviews at the IRT. I was then able to watch the Nina Simone tribute performance. It was stellar. And I forgot to take an outfit photo on Sunday - a very chill and lazy day.

I've never been big on Valentine's Day, but my partner has made it feel very special this week. He has made me enjoy the holiday not just for the heart shaped and printed items. To celebrate, I've worn red and pink all week. Honestly, one of the best color combinations there is. I was starting to feel a little stale (because cold) and this kind of helped bring me out of it! The weather is going to take a turn for the worse next week, so I will really need to lean on fun and functional pieces.

Bisou bisou!

This was my Friday date night look. Bonus! We went to Prime 47 in Downtown Indy and then to Cannon Ball Lounge. I love getting a little dressed up for a night out on the town. It was so cold, but a lot more fun. Get out on those cold nights - less people are out and about. Shop the look here.

I was pulled to help with some One Question interviews at the IRT for the Nina Simone tribute on Saturday. I thought this was the perfect time to pull out this set! I love this color and it just works so well for everything. My pearl purse was getting a lot of love as well. Shop the look here.

Red and pink are just so good together. I got this skirt pretty late in the holiday season last year, so I'm excited to be wearing it again now. I really need to incorporate it into my non-holiday wear. Shop the look here.

I wore this outfit around this time last year and I just think it's really sweet. It might be the last year for this skirt though. It's looking a little rough. Shop the look here.

I love this sweater. I don't wear it nearly enough, but it's so cozy and cute! I worked from home this day, so I wanted to stay comfortable and put together. This skirt is perfect for lounging. Shop the look here.

I love how chic and whimsical this looks. I rarely pull my hair back, but I'm trying to have some fun with it and try new things as it's getting longer. I think it's time I look for some different tulle skirt options as well. Shop the look here.

Saved the best for last! I wore this a few years ago. It fit a bit more snug, but still a winner. I just love a more corporate top paired under a strapless cocktail dress. It's fresh and gets you wearing your pieces that generally only come out at night or special occasions. Shop the look here.
