What I Wore 11.30.24

How are we already a week into December?

It's time to bust out the Christmas/holiday styles! I think I went pretty hard from the get-go, but I'm excited to see where this season takes me. I'm going to challenge myself like I did in October, to wear every piece at least once. You'll definitely see repeats, but I only buy and keep pieces I want to wear over and over again!

It annoys me slightly that red is really a great color for me because one of the school colors for my high school was red. And it's just why I've avoided it. I have been trying to add it more into my wardrobe, but maybe after this season I'll try a little harder. I would just rather get the green version if I'm being honest (which looks equally fabulous).

This week was kind of meh, honestly. It wasn't bad, but I didn't really do anything (until Friday night) that made it feel any kind of special. I loafed so much and binged so many Netflix holiday movies. While this isn't a bad thing, I have books that need read! I have gifts that need wrapped! I have an Oswin that needs played with! I know I probably needed the time to disassociate and relax, but it became a bit much. I finally pulled myself out of it on Thursday night (I finished a book!). I am hoping for a more fun and productive week next week.

This is my go to I want to be comfy, but also really cute loafing with my boyfriend look. This skort is still a favorite and I will be wearing it nonstop once January hits. Shop the look here.

I had planned looking a little more put together this day, but had a little modeling call at a spa and it was absolutely frigid, so this is what I wore out of the apartment. Otherwise, I was in pajamas all day. Shop the look here.

I thrifted the top and skirt here! I am really trying to not shop, but when I must (for clothes and such) I am trying harder to buy secondhand. It's cheaper and more sustainable. I also can find items that most people probably no longer have - making it a more unique pieces (even if it didn't used to be). Shop the look here.

This was a rough getting ready morning. I tried on two dresses that no longer fit. It was kind of devastating for one pieces, but I'm hanging onto it because it "fits", it's just a little tight. So, this outfit felt a little lack luster, but was comfy and cute and made me feel good. Shop the look here.

I love pairing fairisle sweaters with plaid. It's my favorite print mixing, I think. And red and pink? Perfection. I hate that it's a Valentine's Day combo - it should be an every day combo. Shop the look here.

This is a favorite look from last year. I styled it a  bit more this time around, but I just love it. The green velvet with the red plaid. Yes, chef. Also, the best part about holiday dressing might just be the earrings. Shop the look here.

This dress is *hopefully* the dress I'll be wearing to Winterlights at Newfields! The first time I've brought out the fleece-lined tights. I need to invest in a new pair because these are raggedy. Whoops. Shop the look here.
