It's October, my favorite month of the year! Halloween is my favorite holiday. My husband and I were married in October. The weather turns crisp and the smell of apples lingers in the air. Bugs go back to where they came from. It's magical.
With the change from summer to fall, I not only love to layer in sweaters and tweeds, but I also adore showing my Halloween pride. Each year I purchase a few new items to add to my collection. Modcloth is by far my favorite stop for Halloween items. In fact, all but one of what I have listed is Modcloth. Modcloth really knows the fine line between chic and costume-y. Target has some fun options that are more casual (as does Meijer and Wal-Mart). My absolute favorite piece is the bones dress from Modcloth. I wore it as my wedding rehearsal dinner dress. It also glows in the dark!
