Podcasts: I've gone down a long rabbit hole with a heaping pile of podcasts at the bottom. I'm late on the podcast train (as per usual), but I'm here for it. I'm currently loving Bad on Paper (advice and YA novels), Dressed (fashion history), and EarBiscuits (Good Mythical Morning extras). Having to walk around downtown Indianapolis more, I'm finding I prefer a good podcast to music. I'm even listening to them on my drives. Let me know if there are podcasts that I should be listening to and I will give them a try.
A Thing Created: I love a beautiful water color print. And Erisha from A Thing Created has a slew of adorable prints. In my office at work, I have a mood/inspiration board and I knew I wanted some of her pieces to be included. I bought two: peonies in a ginger jar and a girl in a pink bow dress. I am so in love and can't wait to purchase more. I am going to need some printed pieces to hang in my house! You can find her Etsy shop here and her Instagram here.
Chanel Knockoff: I'm a girl on a budget (as my tag line reads). I am obsessed with the two-tone Chanel slingbacks. I; however, cannot afford them. I was ecstatic to see J. Crew Factory brought their own version in the form of a low, block heeled pump. The price tag is more budget friendly. I cannot wait to wear them this coming fall and winter season and until I walk the soles off them. I'm considering buying a second back up pair!
Reverse Umbrella: A good umbrella will take you places, especially if those places have rain falling from the skies. Typically, I would purchase umbrellas that were cute and mostly functional. Now, though, as I find myself walking a lot more and in more rainy situations, I wanted an umbrella that could really work. The reverse umbrella is amazing and you need to run out and purchase one today. Getting in and out of the car is so much easier. The water droplets stay in the umbrella instead of all over me. They do have cute versions too (currently mine is plain black). Have you converted to the reverse umbrella?
