It has been a crazy two and a half weeks around here! If you're following me on Instagram, you probably know a little about what has been going on in my life. To update: The company I work for (J.C. Hart) managed the Community I was working at in McCordsville. The owners (not us) sold the Community and now I'm out of the suburbs and right smack dab in Downtown Indy! We're opening a new Community called Penrose on Mass (check out our Instagram). While it's been absolutely crazy, it's been an absolute dream as well. If you're in Indy, drop by and see us!
Carly's Nantucket Video: IGTV isn't something I've delved into, but I've watched a few videos. One of them being Carly's Nantucket video! Carly, from Carly the Prepster, posted her video on IGTV last week and I've never wanted to visit Nantucket more! I don't know how to link it here, but go follow her on Instagram and check it out. You'll also get completely hooked on her song choice - perfection. After watching you'll want to book a trip and find yourself immediately relaxed.
Ear Biscuits: On the last Monday Musings I mentioned a YouTube channel called Good Mythical Morning. I'm still obsessed, don't worry. Rhett and Link have a podcast channel called Ear Biscuits. Since I'm working downtown, I've taken to walking... a lot. And music is great, but I'm hooked on this podcast. If you want to let your mind wander while listening to something that will make you laugh out loud or think deeply (that might be stretching it), give it a go. They also put up a video on YouTube of their Round Table of Dim Lighting (which is what I've linked).
Indy Humane: Two weeks ago, Doug and I adopted a dog. My new temporary office at Industrious Indy (amazing space), hosts some awesome events. One such event was hosting Indy Humane to bring puppies in for the people in the office to play, pet, and cuddle - and potentially adopt. They brought two puppies and one dog of about 10 years. Obviously our hearts just couldn't take it and we adopted the old man dog. His name is Ramsey and he is just so adorable. Here's the post by Indy Humane. You can follow Gizmo and Ramsey's exploits here. They aren't best friends (yet), but they tolerate each other.
Gal Meets Glam Collection: I'm in love with Julia Engel's Gal Meets Glam Collection. The fabrics, prints, and styles of the dresses are perfectly feminine and a little bit wistful. The price, however, is a little more than what I would like or tend to spend. It's a real bummer because I know these dresses would be great pieces to add to my wardrobe. Well, guess what! A few dresses have started going on sale! While the prices are still probably more than what I would normally spend, I can basically get two for one. The sizes can be limited, but click here to see if any of your favorites are still available!
