Lela and I were excited to explore downtown Indy, but the skies had other plans. We started wandering the canal, but were soon running for cover as the rain poured. A chilly day to start, we had not planned our outfits for a rainy day. The weather drove us indoors, but we still managed to traipse around the city.
I eyeballed this J. Crew Factory skirt the day it was released. I have been wanting a red skirt, but wasn't sure if I should get the stripes. Those thoughts didn't last long. I love the pleats on the waist band. The fabric is light (but not cotton) and perfect for the warmer weather. The black and cognac really makes the red shine.
