Monday Musings

1. Foxgardin Kitchen and Ale: I live in a small town. I work in a small town. I am surrounded by small towns. If I want to eat at a restaurant that has good food and an even better vibe I have to go downtown or too far away. Until now. I discovered Foxgardin about a year ago, but was just now able to make my way there. It is the most adorable little restaurant and in Fortville, Indiana! The pricing is a little on the higher end, but the food is completely worth it. I also love the selection of drinks - they made their menu well. I would suggest making a reservation, but they have an fun Whiskey Lounge for those who don't.

2. XBox E3 presentation: I'm not a gamer (I dabble), but my husband is. Each year he is always watching the E3 presentations and especially pays attention to the XBox portion. I decided I would watch with him this year. The new XBox One X seems super cool (even if I don't really understand it). The games coming out also seem breathtaking. It's amazing what they can do with the graphics these days. Even though I most likely won't play any of these games, I am excited for my husband to experience them.

3. Harry Potter Trivia: A local bar in Indy will be hosting a Harry Potter trivia night in July. I literally cannot contain my excitement. This falls at just the right time. I always reread the Harry Potter books in the Summer and just started this weekend! Let's do this.

4. Wonder Woman: This movie was awesome! In true DC Comics form, the movie does feel a tad long, but it's full of action and Girl Power, so it doesn't come across as long right away (unlike Batman Vs. Superman). It is just absolutely thrilling to see a woman hero totally kicking ass and not apologizing along the way. I'm so happy for all the little girls who will grow up with this film.
