You have Lilly Pulitzer to thank for the creation of the American resort wear. Her flirty and colorful prints took 1959 by storm while defining the preppy style of the 60's. Lilly Pulitzer said, "Palm Beach is a state of mind," and it is definitely a lot easier to picture your life on the beach with a sassy dress or relaxed shorts.  

The collection will include 250 pieces of apparel, accessories, beauty, and home decor. Prices will range from $2 to $150 with nearly 200 items under $30. The colorful prints, playful textures, and the striking number of shift dresses have me jumping for joy. I mean, hello! The prices are even worth the look. You know I'll be waiting outside Target's doors bright and early on the morning of April 19th. Who wants to join me?!
