Is it cringe to wear matching clothes with your partner? Potentially. Do I care? Absolutely not. I wish there was a prettier word for it, but I actually adore being so called "cringe". I'm going to wear the Hunter rain boots, plaid outfit, and a basket to the apple orchard every year in the fall. And each time, I'm going to be the most excited to take the same photos we've taken for years. You know me, I love a yearly portrait.
Time passes so quickly. More quickly as you age (or so I've found). If I find something fun and worth my time, I'm going to do it. Until it's no longer fun and worth my time. I sometimes think we get so caught up in what people think that we stop having fun. And what's the point of life if not to have fun?!
Take this as your sign to buy the matching outfit and take the photos. Be silly. Kiss a lot. And maybe send out Christmas cards.
