What I Wore 2.28.26

This week was less of me scrolling Pinterest and more of me throwing pieces together. Don't get me wrong, I was still scrolling for ideas (mainly for summer), but most of these outfits came together from me just looking at my closet. I know I keep saying this, but things really are starting to feel like they're clicking. I feel like I might be pulling some of the same items a bit too much, but this is a very good start for me!

I had to share both sides of the outfit because I'm pretty proud of this one. Devin and I planned for a biking day out to a coffee shop and lunch. It was still chilly and I didn't want to wear workout clothes. Thankful for my jeans. Thankful the girlies are using sweaters as scarves and putting pins/broaches on the sleeves. Thankful for this trench coat. I did get a little warm, but it was honestly perfect for the day.

Sundays are really not it for outfits lately. Our Sundays have been all about loafing as we tend to go fairly hard on Fridays and Saturdays with plans. I'm sure as the weather warms, we'll get out more, but for now... it's me and my pajamas on the couch.

Trying out another Christmas plaid. In March! I do really like this outfit, but I don't know if it's really the vibe I want for this time of year. My outfits for the rest of the week were in a very different vein. Though, it was the coldest day (it might have snowed?). Shop the look here.

I only have like 4 or 5 jackets in my wardrobe and it's really showing now... As I am wanting to add them, I'm realizing I'm wearing them a lot. Definitely a pain point in my wardrobe. But one that is difficult to patch over. I really kind of love the juxtaposition of this jacket and skirt. They work in the weirdest and best way possible. Shop the look here.

I love love love this outfit. The green! The leopard! Now, I do wish I had a pair of yellow shoes, I think this would have looked the best with yellow shoes. But, I love the red too. Actually, I was a bit surprised this Gal Meets Glam dress still fit. I'm so glad it does (it's one of my favorites). I wore this to a networking learning event and it did the trick. One of my harder to style tops. This outfit is very different from what I've done with these pieces before. I tried leaning into Allison Bornstein's "styling against" theory. It's a very girly, but also western look. I thought also leaning into it would make things pop. Shop the look here

This Friday was warm and humid and I wanted to feel like Spring! I think I look like a tomato, but I kind of love that. Again, maybe a yellow shoe! Tried to pull pieces I haven't worn in awhile here. And it worked! I was also able to find the exact pieces on eBay. All are old. What's new? Shop the look here
