What I Wore 3.1.25

False Spring is definitely upon us. I tried really hard to not wear tights, but I caved. It just got too cold! I do feel like my outfits were pretty solid this week. Mostly new to me outfits except for Saturday's date night look. I've said it before, but I really am having so much fun putting outfits together this season! It's not normally like this and I have to shout it out!

Nothing too exciting happened during the work week. I am still running and doing my daily work outs. My partner and I started our Project Hail Mary read. I've been better at long-form journaling now that I've gotten down my daily 5-year journal. So, not exciting or a lot, but quite lovely. 

A double special for Saturday! We actually ventured out all day, so real outfits! It was pretty chilly, but with the Frosty Boy opening day, I wanted to look a little like spring. A new set that I have added to my wardrobe. I'm honestly a little iffy on the styling of this with the pieces together. I'm not sure how I want to style it. I know the pieces will be great separates, but I think it looks a little less preppy/academic than I would like when together. Shop the look here.

An updo two days in a row! I'm really liking how striking an outfit can be with my hair pulled back. I do need something poking out though, like a bow. I really need some more trousers. I just love how this looks! Who would have thought? Shop the look here.

I love this Gal Meets Glam dress, but it has a time staying closed. I think the button holes are just a little too big for the buttons. I love how the corset top looks over it! This is not something I have really thought about doing before (I should!). I love the juxtaposition the loafers add as well. Just such a cute look! Shop the look here.

My Pinterest feed is giving me a lot of oversized blazers and long dresses/skirts inspiration and I am here for it. For the longest time, I thought i couldn't wear these silhouettes because of how short I am, thinking it would make me appear shorter. Maybe it does. But I don't think so! And who cares?!
