Back in my happy place: the apple orchard. I love visiting Tuttle Orchards in the fall (really anytime). I didn't get to visit this summer because the sunflower fields hadn't grown properly and I just had a very full schedule, so it didn't end up working out. I will always make time for apple and pumpkin picking though!
This year was a tad bit warmer and we were sweating by the time we got done. I obsessively check the weather and thought the morning would stay a lot cooler than it did. This ended up costing us some photos I think. I missed some shots of the trees and surrounding areas, but I'm very happy I was able to grab some Golden Delicious, while Erica picked Johnathan. However, I absolutely love this outfit for orchard hopping. I am obsessed with these skorts from American Eagle (so soft), but I missed wearing my Hunter Boots. I need to get some new ones!
After we completed all our activities, we headed to the grill section of the orchard for some lunch. I always get their pulled pork - they use an apple barbeque sauce (yum!). And I, of course, had to get their applesauce as a side. It's the best applesauce I have ever tasted. Chef's kiss. In lieu of water (whoops), I got a regular cold cider and a sparkling cider (non-alcoholic). It was one of the best lunches. We also did a little bit of shopping in their café area and farm store. I snagged some apple sauce and caramel apples.
While apple picking is a little bit behind us now, I still highly recommend giving them a visit if you're in the area.
