I am so excited for fall! I want to wear sweaters and mini skirts and loafers. I want to sip hot chocolate and apple cider. I want to pick pumpkins and apples. I want to decorate for Halloween. September 1st is fast approaching and that is when everything really kicks into gear for me. While I talk about fall and complain about the weather and purchase things, I really try to let August be August and enjoy the last few days of summer (even though it won't actually feel cool enough to wear said sweaters for awhile).
When J. Crew Factory rolled out their pre-fall items, I knew I had to scoop a few pieces. I am wary of shopping too much in between seasons (when I hate my wardrobe the most), so I didn't want to go too crazy. I know these pieces will add to what I already have and bring some freshness at the same time. I obviously have a color scheme going on as well. Finding the balance between purely fall and Halloween style is difficult for me sometimes. I'm hoping this year I can really wear my favorite Halloween pieces, but still leave room for the fall ones. Maybe I should just start wearing two outfits a day. What is nice about these pieces, though, is they will take me right into spring as well.
I can't wait to try everything on and start adding these pieces into my daily outfits!
