Green, Green Dress

Occasionally, I come across a dress that I just cannot get off my mind. This green dress is one of those. As I mentioned in my "no shopping" blog (whoops), I saw this dress on Grace Atwood's stories and squirreled it away to purchase later. After continuously thinking about it for a week and a price drop, I bought it. I am so so incredibly happy I did. 

I think it can be difficult to see our own beauty sometimes and a good outfit can really boost your confidence. This dress did that for me. I mean just look at me! I did say that in my humblest voice. The cut and lines and color really just bring out what was already there that I wasn't quite seeing at the time. Now, I did have the dress taken up quite a few inches. It didn't come in a petite size and was down to my ankles. It honestly didn't look bad that way, but I want to keep wearing this dress as much as possible and having it shorter ensures that. 

If there is a dress or top or whatever that you've been considering purchasing... this is your sign to just get it. Don't have an event to wear it to yet? Doesn't matter. You don't need one. Wear the dress. Wear your favorite outfit. Life is too short to wait for the perfect moment. Create your own perfect moments. Oh and don't forget to take a photo or two to show all those youngins what a rocking body you had (and, let's face it, probably still have).
