What I Read in 2022

This reading year was quite different than last year. A tumultuous year at worst, I'm glad I pursued my 100 books last year. It was difficult enough getting to 50 this year (thank you audiobooks!). Yet, here we are, at the end of the year with 50 books completed. I still feel like I was able to get a good mix of genres.

My favorite books from this year (that aren't Harry Potter) are I'm Glad My Mom Died by Jennette Curdy, Beyond the Wand by Tom Felton (I guess technically that is Harry Potter?), Last Christmas in Paris by Hazel Gaynor and Heather Webb (this made me cry), and Conversations on Love by Natasha Lunn. These could be recency bias, but oh well.

I haven't decided on a goal for next year yet, but I'm thinking 65. I'm hoping to listen to some more audiobooks and read more poetry books in the new year. I also don't think I had enough historical fiction, so looking forward to finding more books in that genre.

P.S. I only read The Manningtree Witches once and I can't figure out how to delete it.
