What I Wore: Harry Potter Edition

A friend and I went to Universal earlier this month and it was... magical! I have been a few times over the years and have thoroughly enjoyed each time I've visited, but this one was a little different. Instead of just one day at the parks - we were able to enjoy 4 whole-ish days! We did happen to visit during Hurricane Nicole which upended some of our plans (like flying back to Indiana Thursday night), however, we had some truly special moments because of it.

Knowing this was a chance to shoot some great Harry Potter content in our Harry Potter gear, we packed accordingly. The plan was to have two outfits per day at the parks (one more costume-y/cosplay, the other more comfortable). We coordinated as best we could (I'm a Ravenclaw, she is a Hufflepuff) and it was fairly seamless. For vacations, I typically pack pieces that go together in some color story and choose outfits accordingly. This time, I packed specific outfits (with a few random pieces, thank goodness). While I don't think this method will work for me all the time, I did have more room in my luggage (even with the Selkie dress)!
