Stylin' the Burbs: Fall Favorites: Outfits

November is one of those months that occasionally frustrates me as I sometimes don’t know which direction to go with my clothing choices. We’ve just left Halloween behind and Christmas is still a month away (wardrobe wise). I love wearing my Halloween pieces and I never feel like they have the proper time of day - really just a month and a half. It doesn’t even get properly cold enough to really wear my Halloween sweaters anymore!

I do pretty well leaving Thanksgiving to itself, but since 2020, I’ve been decorating earlier (mid-November). There are still a few things I want to do to my apartment before I decorate for Christmas though, so I’m waiting until Thanksgiving weekend. That being said, I may have purchased a few new items this past week and I am ready to be in Christmas mode!

I am trying to get the best use of my fall wardrobe as I possibly can though before I basically only wear red and green. These are favorites I wear over and over - some pieces are old loves and some are new. I’ve been especially loving mixing brown and black this year. Damn the so-called rules! Fall is the absolute best and I’m trying to make sure I’m enjoying it while it’s here.
