I have set an ambitious reading goal for 2019. I want to read a whopping 67 books this year. Yes, I know that's a weird number, but I find setting odd/weird numbers for goals or meeting times makes them stick better (like, let's meet at 6:32 instead of 6:30). Try it, it's fun!
In January, I read twelve books. Two of those were audio books, one was my Whole30 book, and I read the ACOTAR series to give you an idea of how my month looked. I was very much nestled on my couch with my dogs for the majority of January. I'm a voracious reader in the very cold and very hot months. If the weather is mild, I don't read as much since I'm out interacting with the human populace (though I'd rather be at home).
Here is what I read in January with my ratings. Follow me on Goodreads to stay up to date!
1. The Greatest Love Story Ever Told by Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman (audiobook) - 4 stars
2. The Whole30: The 30-Day Guide to Total Health and Food Freedom by Melissa Hartwig and Dallas Hartwig - 4 stars
3. The Proposal by Jasmine Guillory - 4 stars
4. Everybody, Always: Becoming Love in a World Full of Setbacks and Difficult People by Bob Goff - 2 stars
5. A Simple Favor by Darcey Bell - 4 stars
6. A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Mass - 5 stars
7. The Woman in the Window by A.J. Finn (audiobook) - 4 stars
8. The Road Back to You: An Enneagram Journey to Self-Discovery by Ian Morgan Cron - 5 stars
9. A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Moss - 5 stars
10. A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Moss - 5 stars
11. A Court of Frost and Starlight by Sarah J. Moss - 4 stars
12. Rich People Problems by Kevin Kwan - 4 stars
I tend to really enjoy the books I read. I know what I'll like most of the time. If you add anything to your reading lists, add the A Court of Thorns and Roses (ACOTAR) series. It's beautiful and probably my favorite YA fantasy series after Harry Potter.
I'm a bit behind this month with only three books completed so far, but I'm working on it!
