That KJP Feeling

I finally got my hands on a Kiel James Patrick dress - and it did not disappoint! I've been wanting to purchase something from their clothing line (I have a few of their jewelry pieces), but just hadn't pulled the trigger. This year, I wanted one of their plaid dresses for Christmas Eve or Day (this was in fact Christmas Eve and yes, I was cold). I love this particular plaid and didn't have anything quite like it. The lining is fully attached which is just fantastic. I typically have trouble with liners either stretching out or riding up. The fabric is just thick enough and the colors are beautiful. The size charts are spot on. It runs pretty true to size, if not just slightly large (nothing I would worry about or have altered). For reference, I am wearing a small.

I'm loving these knot headbands. I was completely in love with the Blair Waldorf bow headbands, but those soon felt to young. The knot feels pretty timeless to be honest. I found a pack on Amazon with multiple colors and it's quite inexpensive. Also, the pearl bag is something I have been wanting to buy, but Doug gifted it to me for Christmas! It's the knock off version, but that's how I roll. It's so fun to carry around and I received so many compliments.

For Christmas Eve I like to dress a little more fancy and pretend I'm going out on the town instead of to my parents' house. I did switch my heels for Santa socks though as the night wore on. What's your favorite way to dress for the Christmas holidays?
