Snow Good

It finally, honestly, snowed! We have had about two meek snows so far this season. This snowfall, however, was just perfect. It actually lasted the whole day - mixing in flurries and down pours.  I had so much fun playing around in it, but definitely froze. I had to stop for a hot chocolate to warm up!

During one of my many walks around the Mass Ave area, I stumbled upon this adorable building. It's the Harlan-Hoffman House that was established in 1873. I just love the look and feel of it. With the snow covering the ground, I couldn't resist using the area for photos.

Bees in winter?! Yes, it's officially winter for me (once the first snowfall happens, fall is over). I love this belt so much, it's such a conversation piece! It's a knock off of the Gucci belt and it's so fun to wear. I modeled this look from Sarah Vickers of Classy Girls Wear Pearls. You can find the post here

Working downtown, I've realized I need multiple shoes per day sometimes. I tend to keep a pair of Bean Boots or Hunter boots in my car or the office. Thankfully, I had these Bean Boots in my car. I tend to forget to check the forecast when getting ready in the morning. They are perfect for snowy or rainy weather when you have to be out and about.

The snow really picked up around midday. Watching the snow fall from the Industrious rooftop was beautiful. I love city landscapes covered in snow. Everything seems brighter and happier. I carried an umbrella most of the time I was outside, but even just after a few moments peeking out from underneath, a cap of snowflakes would settle on my head. I also dumped quite a bit of snow on myself from my umbrella, so you can decide if it's necessary.
