Sumtumn

That moment when the air starts to turn crisp, but the sun is still hot. You wake up just a tad too cold, but by midday you're removing your sweater. The days are spent soaking up the sun in your favorite swimsuit, but the nights are spent cuddled up in a sweater by a bonfire. It's that moment between Summer and Autumn. Sumtumn. 

I love and hate this time of year. It's really the perfect weather, but it can be hard to dress. It's all about layers. The mornings and nights are colder, but you're still sweating during the day (especially in Indiana). Tights aren't necessary, but always have a sweater, cardigan, or jacket on hand. Offices are still blasting AC and you don't want to be shivering all day. A sweater or cardigan, collared shirt, and skirt is my basic every day uniform. And I am so happy I can wear it comfortably again.
