October 29, 2016
I am married! It's definitely all a bit surreal, but I am ecstatic. I honestly didn't think I would feel this happy because we have been together for so long, but it was truly a lovely day. The weather was perfect for our outdoor photos (I was a bit worried about rain and it being too cold). Since Indiana has been so warm, the leaves were still on the trees and the colors were spectacular. Brittany Nickerson Photography photographed the wedding and everything turned out amazing. I cannot wait to get the rest of photos back. The ceremony and reception were both at the Righteous Oaks Ballroom. It was a Halloween themed wedding and the venue was perfect. Think of the Hogwarts Great Hall during Halloween. It was definitely a day of love and I couldn't thank everyone enough from family and friends to the workers at the venue. #millshallowedding
Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life
The official trailer was released and I am very excited. I was never super into Gilmore Girls, but definitely enjoyed the show. I am currently watching all the seasons on Netflix to remind myself of everything that happened. It's actually a bit strange because when I first watched it, I totally identified with Rory. Now that I'm older, I am finding I identify more with Lorelai. I'm very excited to see where their lives are now.
Freeform's 25 Days of Christmas
The list is up and we are waiting! I don't think actual Christmas decorating should happen until at least after Thanksgiving, but I'm all about the holiday movies. You can see the full list here. Get your schedules ready!
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them
I will be on a boat in the middle of the ocean when this comes out! I'm very upset I won't be able to see it opening night, but I am so excited for the film. Harry Potter was definitely my first fandom obsession and there will always be a place in my heart for it. I know a little about Newt Scamander and his beasts, but it's wonderful to get something brand new. No spoilers!
Goodread's 2016 Reading Challenge
Reading is one of my favorite hobbies. When I'm not taking photos of myself you can one hundred percent bet I'm reading. Right now I'm currently reading "The Things We Wish Were True" by Marybeth Mayhew Whalen. I am currently three books behind schedule. I blame the wedding. We will be shipping off for the honeymoon November 11th and I need some great book recommendations to read on my Kindle. Please send them my way! I desperately need to catch back up and reach my goal of fifty books this year!
