If there is one thing that every one knows about me it's that I refuse to be in public in anything less than something stellar. Sweatpants are for the couch not the mall. However, with the rise of lounge wear the lines are being blurred. What is and is not technically pajamas is a little harder to classify. Scoffing at lines that produced lounge wear, I never paid it any attention. Yeah, it looked cool on those L.A. girls and the adorable mom bloggers, but I couldn't buy those pieces. I couldn't turn lounge wear pieces into work wear pieces. It has taken me a little bit, but I've finally come around. Maybe some clothing items don't have to work more than one way. Maybe I could calm down and buy something comfortable so I don't have to drag everything out of my closet to figure out what I want to wear for Netflix watching.
When the next round of shopping came up for my Fabletics account, I jumped at the chance to buy my first official lounge wear pieces. Sticking to what I love, I chose this chambray skirt and white tank. The outfit is fantastic and the separate pieces stand alone well. The top will work perfectly for fitness. The skirt I could probably dress up a little more for brunches or just switch it up with different off duty pieces. Fabletics has more chambray outfits on the site and they are all just as incredible. If you're not already signed up - you should get over there right now (click here)! Your first outfit is around $30 - you could get this exact outfit for only $30!
Apologies for the bra straps - I don't own a nude strapless bra and I didn't want to wear a sports bra and the fabric is too thin to go braless.
