Rock-n-Roll Glamour: Anna Faris

My devotion to Chelsea Handler runs deep. So, of course I was watching my DVR-ed episode one morning (October 8) and the guest was Anna Faris. I adore Anna Faris for numerous reasons. She is beautiful, adorkable, and hilarious. When Ms. Faris stepped onto the set I was entranced by her outfit. The leather a-line skirt caught my attention first because I had recently just bought a faux leather (a.k.a. pleather) a-line skirt from Forever 21. The rocker chic mixed with ladylike glamour had me falling in love at first sight. Anna (or a stylist) did a fabulous job mixing the leather skirt with ladylike pieces. She paired the skirt with a tweed blazer, ivory sequined top, and Mary Jane shoes (Louboutins to be exact). I immediately set out to find the perfect, less expensive version of her outfit. It is the perfect from work to play look. Here are a few select choices:

Forever 21 Pleather a-line skirt: $15.80

White Sequin Top:

Alloy: $32.90

Charlotte Russe: $22.99

MM Couture (Piperlime): $40.99

Tweed Jacket:

Emma James by Liz Claiborne (eBay): $19.95

For the tweed jacket, you may end up paying more. There were some really fabulous finds for under $100 but were still too costly to keep the outfit under $100. I suggest when looking for a tweed jacket you will want to pay more for quality.

Mary Jane:

Target: $24.99

Here is the interview of Anna Faris to see her complete outfit!
